Tumbleweeds a-rollin' in the classrooms

Somehow I made it to the end of another day! It has been tough, I'll tell you. 9am Critical Theory seminar and I am one of only two people who have turned up for a lesson on Ecocriticism - which did include a talk through our recent marks and feedback, and a chance to discuss any issues with our essays in progress. I went to book a tutorial (as recommended) afterward and was worried I wouldn't get seen before Monday, however one guy had a fortunate cancellation so I got in then and there. He gave me some really useful research, essay planning and structure tips which hopefully my brain will take into account now. Picked up my books for next year too (not as many as I had to pick up for this year but then I had the entire lot - including the Norton Anthology multipack, two of which are going to be used next year). Back in my room, I managed to throw together the next 100 words of my Psychoanalysis intro before my second seminar - Horace Walpole's Castle of Otranto. This time I was one of four which made it a little better but there was a lot more awkward silences....hmmm
Went to the library to pick up a few more textbooks for my essay after that, returned to my room for cold pizza with hoi sin sauce dip (haha maybe a little too salty for me), read the important parts of a book on psychoanalysis, all the while fighting fatigue. This I gave into at 5.30 pm - for half hour - before convincing myself to get another 173 words down, bringing my total word count to approx. 370 something.
As a sort of reward, I ate the last of my Ben and Jerrys Cookie Dough ice cream and watched some Archer.
But again, the day is wearing away and I will have to sleep soon.
Just three more days to go...
