Leaving the weekend out of my blog was not my intention, but I have been [enjoyably] preoccupied these last two nights. However, I have finally finished typing up my class notes from the last month of lectures, workshops and seminars - or rather, applying those notes to the various Powerpoints used in said classes (it means I don't need to print as much anyway, so I'm saving money AND the environment....sort of).
Managed to get in to do some library work on the Saturday, ended up looking up books on Amazon to see if any were worth selling. Not too many great results - though I did encounter a few prices which were just taking the piss (it has to be a very special book to ask £600!)
But I managed a decent length Skype conversation that night with Jackson so I was happy.
Yesterday was a lot more relaxed, nothing much happened, though I have now reached the finale of Daredevil Season 2 so that's another series down.
Today, I need to start writing up lists of things to donate/dispose of, and then get myself over to YO Sushi for a tasty Blue Monday offer - alone, mind you, because my poor friend who was going to come with me has injured herself (I wish her ankle better soon).
I seem to have been out of luck with the 'meeting friends' part of my plan this last week....no one has been free....or I just haven't provided any incentive to come out. Maybe this week will be better.
We'll see when I next write.
