The Burlesque Glitter Theory

Continuing with the trend of Thursdays being the busiest but surprisingly the most enjoyable, today has for the most part not disappointed. First seminar on Freud - already enjoyed reading the theory, and was made even more engaging in class, especially when I got to bust out my Burlesque Glitter Theory! (being the relation between the endless meanings of a single dream and the endless appearance of glitter on/in and around a Burlesque dancer)
Due to the decline in the weather, I had to restrict my walk to inside Drake Circus and it didn't last too long either, but my chat with my Critical Theory tutor gave me a little more confidence for writing my essay.
Second class at 1 focused on two poems concerned with Sensibility (the topic of choice for my intro and annotated bibliography). Not as interesting as usual but still elicited a few laughs.
Curry awaited my appetite when I finally got back (after having many friends wish me a happy holiday) with which I was able to use up the last of my cauliflower and some other veggies (given I need to clear my fridge before I leave) and then work began....yes, it was slow and almost unendurable but I was practically finished for the night by 9 (aided along by chocolate - as I have been these last few nights). Was shocked by a violent cliffhanger in Breaking Bad too haha
Tomorrow I start the planning and packing and scanning and perhaps reward myself with sushi or a burrito! Wish me luck!
