I think I'm starting to base whether I write here on what has happened and if it's significant. Well today has been one hell of a blustery one with trees being uprooted and a main road in town closed off when part of the main electronic screen was blown off....yeh it got pretty crazy and I was out in all that though I saw none of it (typical!)
I did, however, snag some sweet bargains on ski gear for my trip with my boyfriend Jackson at the end of the month. At least 25% off on everything: ski pants, thermal leggings, shirt, and socks, and all weather walking shoes! The only thing I paid full price for? £5 box of cookie dough poptarts!
But it's been a lazy day otherwise. Up until I had to cook some curry and go to a short performance entitled The Sand Dog Cometh, described as 'an homage to the avant garde and experimental, kitsch, academia, snobbery and trash tv'. I liked the delivery, very informal, mixed with video and contemporary dance and the ever present obscure messages.
But faced with a failed WiFi connection and a 9am class in the morning, I should probably get this day over with....at least I would if certain drunk and rowdy girls would just shut up!!
