One White Wall

I'm not sure what I woke up expecting today but it's been okay. Chores are always enjoyable - depending on what they are and only so long as there's no one to distract you from them - wrapping presents, however, can get messy....tape refusing to stick in the right place, not cutting the paper big enough, etc etc. Was kind of glad when my sister returned home so I could help paint her bedroom wall (it looks good in white, stop worrying). I made sure I was looking after her, she's my little sister after all. One episode of vampire diaries together later and it was time to start a lateish dinner - a family concoction of chicken, veg and pasta topped with potato slices, and cheese and ham sauce. The evening always winds down pretty fast after that. So I haven't got much else to say. But being silly with my sister is truly the best thing about being home.
